From Sale to Victoria Warehouse | Greater Manchester Wedding Photography

As a Greater Manchester wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless love stories, but Gemma and Neil’s wedding was something truly special. This lovely couple, who live in my hometown of Sale, Trafford, tied the knot in a beautiful church ceremony before heading to the iconic Victoria Warehouse in Greater Manchester for a memorable reception.

The day was set up to be filled with emotion, love, joy, and so much laughter right from the start. Neil and his groomsmen, who had spent the previous night in a local hotel (ably kept in check by the father of the bride!) kept the mood light and fun, cracking jokes and trying not to draw blood as they each took turns placing their buttonholes.

Meanwhile Gemma and her Bridesmaids were back at the family home, trying to keep the page boys excitement under control but clearly excited and filled with anticipation for the day ahead themselves.

Gemma’s bridal look was timeless. Wearing a modern vintage off-white with an intricate design, it was a dress that drew admiration from all her guests throughout the day. She looked radiant when she made her way down the aisle, as did her five bridesmaids who all had smiles for miles.

After the heartfelt ceremony, everyone made their way to Victoria Warehouse, an extraordinary venue with an industrial vibe that added a unique flair to their celebration.

Built by the Liverpool Warehousing Company, the venue’s history linked beautifully with Gemma’s family roots in Liverpool. The exposed brick walls and rustic charm of the converted warehouse offered a perfect backdrop for the rest of the day.

As the evening set in, the reception turned into an epic celebration. Once the music started, it seemed like there wasn’t a person in the room who didn’t hit the dance floor! From Neil and Gemma’s first dance to the fun, energetic moves of their friends and family, everyone embraced the joy of the moment and celebrated into the night.

Capturing weddings like Neil and Gemma’s at Victoria Warehouse reminds me why I love being a wedding photographer. This stunning venue in Greater Manchester combined with the love and excitement of the couple’s big day made for a series of images I’m sure they’ll cherish forever and this sneak peek offers just a glimpse into a thoroughly amazing wedding day.

So a massive thank you to Gemma and Neil for inviting me along to their day and an even bigger Congratulations! to the Newlyweds.

All the very best to you Gemma and Neil.
